Hello, and welcome to the inside of my head.
This blog, "The 39 Steeps," will be a repository for Things I Like. And primarily, this means I will use it to chronicle my adventures in the way of Tea.
For starters, I will cut-and-paste tea reviews I've been posting on Facebook, primarily in the "A Cup of Tea Solves Everything" group. If you use Facebook, please drop in and say, "Hello."
The driving force here is the spirit found in Philippians 4:8, which is, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Do you think Shakespeare (whoever that may be) was a tea drinker?
Hi, Laura:
Nope. Shakespeare wrote during the reign of Elizabeth I, but tea did not arrive in England until 50 years after her death.
